Sunday Night Sessions is the brain-child of Blue Cone Founder Carolyn Hitt.
“I’d been wanting to integrate painting and live music for a while, but the options to explore that seemed pretty limited to me. It’s all in who you know, and it turned out I didn’t really know anyone. Finally, after asking around a bit, getting some blank stares and unreturned emails, Kristen Palmer gave me a great opportunity to paint live at one of her shows. It was invigorating. I learned a lot in the process and it just solidified my desire to continue collaborating with more artists in a multi-discipline/multi-genre kind of way. When space opened up at the studio I knew I had to take advantage of it. The more I talked about it, the more artists I found that were interested in participating and the rest just unfolded from there.”

Sunday Sessions by Blue Cone Studios can best be explained as live experimental theater.
What do you do? What do you want to do? How can we help make that happen? These are the questions creators are asked before they create a session with us. From there we figure out how to turn your idea into an invigorating experience for you, us, and the world.
We want to bring together and collaborate with all kinds of artists and creators and provide an open space to create a piece of work with little to no budget and a great team of invested believers. There is an audience for everyone and we want to help artists find theirs.
The underlying focus is to connect people that wouldn’t normally meet to expand the web of like-minded souls as far as it can reach. If you feel like you’ve been on the fringes, looking to explore your creativity, or simply want to join in on the fun and show us what you’ve got, we are the people for you.
Sessions is about capturing raw talent from different artists and providing free promotion of them to a worldwide audience. The goal is that artists never have to pay us for this platform.
